HCFA Guild Newsletter GuidelinesNOTE: The Editor can no longer publish "raw information" that has not been submitted in a complete article format suitable for publishing.
In order to ensure that the Heart of Colorado FiberArts Guild Newsletter is valuable and timely, the following guidelines have been compiled for officers and committee chairs, who are asked to contribute information.articles related to their offices.committees for each newsletter. Only articles submitted by these members will be considered for inclusion in the monthly newsletter, unless prior arrangements have been approved by a Board member. During preparation for big events, sub-committee chairs may be asked to prepare articles by the event chairman. The Due Date: The Editor will send the potential contributors a "gentle reminder" email each month prior to the newsletter due date. All articles should be sent to the Editor by email prior to the 20th of each month. Publication will not be delayed for articles sent to the Editor after the 20th of each month. Article providers are solely responsible for their articles—correct information, etc. The Editor will "copy edit" the content before publication. The content can be sent as a Word attachment or in the body of an e-mail. The fonts for the newsletter are Baskerville Old Face for headlines and Euphemia for the body of the articles, but any font may be used for submissions. Note: Content providers should let the Editor know as soon as possible if they will not be able to meet the assigned deadline so that any adjustments to the schedule and formatting can be made. |
