JANUARY ROCK DAY

Rock Day is an annual event for spinners, based on the January 7th traditional day for spinners and weavers to return to work after their time off for the 12 Days of Christmas. Spinners and all interested fiber folk come together for spinning, visiting, sharing information and having fun.  Everyone is encouraged to come, even if they are not spinners.

There is a vendor area (anyone may bring items to sell at no charge), a free table for giveaways, and a snack area for all those leftover Holiday goodies. ​

Salida Community Center
Corner of F and Third

Please bring $10, a name tag, a mug, comfy
slippers, your lunch, holiday leftover goodies,
and a Grab Bag item (optional--$20-30 value).

Activities for the day include

  • Grab Bag Exchange
  • Market Area
  • Giveaway Table
  •   Spinning Quiz (or some such)
