2024 WEARABLE ART BOUTIQUE INFORMATION
Boutique Waiver, Inventory Sheet, Labels for Fiber Arts and Jewelry
The Heart of Colorado FiberArts Guild 18th Annual Wearable Arts Fashion Show, Boutique & Brunch will be held at the SteamPlant in Salida on Wednesday, October 23.  The Luncheon and Fashion Show will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.  The Boutique will be open in the SteamPlant Annex following  from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm .  Items for this year’s boutique may include handmade garments, scarves, handbags, jewelry, home décor, hats, mittens, socks, etc.

Boutique Waiver
Boutique Inventory Sheet​

EACH PIECE FOR SALE AT THE BOUTIQUE:

  • Must have an attached Guild Boutique price tag, either Fiber Art Tags and/or Jewelry Tags.
  • Must be your own design.
  • Can be made from a pattern which specifically allows reproduction of the piece or was the subject of a class for which the instructor gave permission to use her/his design for production and sale of each piece 
  • All pieces must be completed, in good condition, clean, odor free, pressed, unused and otherwise presentable.
 
HANDCRAFTED FIBER PIECES TO BE SOLD IN THE BOUTIQUE MUST CONTAIN A LABEL THAT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

  • Fiber or material content 
  • Care instructions for dry cleaning, washing, drying or ironing

 You must turn in a signed Boutique Waiver to Cheryl Eigsti or Robin Ziperman when you set up your displays but no later than the opening of the boutique. 
 
Boutique Inventory Sheet is provided for your convenience.  You do not need to submit an inventory list for your boutique items.

PRE-SHOW:
 
At the September Guild meeting you need to sign up for table and/or floor space in the boutique.  You also have the choice of combining your items with other members who have made similar items. Boutique tables are available to members only. You may join as late as the September meeting.
 
Display space will be approximately one half of a 60"x30" table or equivalent floor space.  You may request additional space if more space is available after others have their allotted space assigned.
 
HCFG will collect a 15% commission for all paid Guild members. 
 
SET-UP:
 
SteamPlant Annex:  You may set up for the boutique from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Tuesday afternoon, October 22.  Otherwise, you may set up at 8:30 am, October 23 – the morning of the boutique.  Specific tables are not reserved.  If you want a particular location, you’ll need to be there early.  Remember the Boutique opens at 1:00 pm that day and you must be completely set up by then.
 
You may bring and set up your own display items.  Be sure to label each one with your name.
 
POST-SHOW:
 
You must pick up any unsold items by 3:30 pm Wednesday, October 23rd at the SteamPlant Annex.  If you cannot pick up your items, you must make arrangements for someone else to pick them up for you. 
 
If you have any difficulties, contact our Boutique Coordinator, Cheryl Eigsti or Robin Ziperman , by Monday, October 21.
 
If your boutique items were in the fashion show and you’re unable to make other arrangements for pick up, please contact Cheryl Eigsti or Robin Ziperman , by Monday, October 21.
