Heart of Colorado FiberArts Guild Memorial Scholarship Fund
The objective of this fund is to provide scholarships to HCFG members, individually or collectively, to continue study in the fiber arts and to result in guild enrichment. Awards are made based on each proposal, and not on the basis of the applicant’s financial need. Criteria for granting proposals are contribution of the proposal to the applicant’s technical and aesthetic development, benefit to the guild, and commitment of the applicant.

How does this proposal contribute to your fiber growth, whether technical or aesthetic? d. Why did you choose this proposal to enhance your expertise? 3. Detailed account of how the funds are to be spent 4. Timeframe for the proposal with specifics 5. Any additional relevant information, including photos of previous work with dimensions and dates 6. Guild enrichment/payback Recipients are required to share the results of their study with the guild. The Scholarship Committee, in cooperation with the recipient, will determine how to satisfy this obligation. Options are for the recipient to provide a seminar, program lecture or workshop to the guild, or to donate a piece of the recipient’s work for sale at the annual guild fashion show, or to provide some other creative outlet for the guild. Any workshop fees, sales proceeds, program honoraria, etc., will be returned to the Memorial Scholarship Fund. Describe your vision of the guild enrichment you will provide as a result of your proposal.
When application is completed, mail, email or deliver it to the Scholarship Chair, Jane Templeton. Only applications with complete information will be considered, so do not omit any of the information requested above.
