PJ Bergin : Color & Texture
The artwork of PJ Begin reflects her interest in the relationship of color, texture and how it is able to enhance a person's outlook. Using Hanji (mulberry paper) as her medium, she demonstrates this with the use of bright colors, dramatic shapes and affirmative messages embedded in each piece. With a background in apparel and interior design, PJ is able to bring these two sensitivities to her artwork in both composition and scale. Now living in Salida, CO, she enjoys the amenities of living in a small town by living a quieter life style to devote herself to her artwork, taking time to hike along the Arkansas River, only a block from her studio.
